Scotiabank Donates 100 Computers to SchoolNet Guyana Project

March 18, 2010 - A generous donation of 100 desktop computers was on Tuesday officially presented to SchoolNet Guyana and the Global Partnership for Literacy to assist int he computerisation of secondary schools across the country.

Global Partnership for Literacy is a Canadian non-governmental organisation, whose mission is to bring Information Communication Technology (ICT) to schools in our country. In pursuit of this objective, the organisation, has sought to develop innovative partnerships with a variety of non-governmental, business and social organisations, particularly those which share the same vision.
